Christmas Unexpected
Christmas is a season filled with traditions of glimmering lights, Christmas trees, festive food, and wrapped gifts. Sometimes, buried underneath all the hustle and bustle, there are truths about Christmas that have either been forgotten or were never learned in the first place. Through this Advent sermon series, we will remind ourselves of these unexpected truths and how they point us to Jesus!
Men’s Bible Study
On the first Saturday morning of the month the men gather at the church building for a Bible Study from 8:00-9:15am. Coffee and donuts are served. Contact Pastor Dan Horton for more details. Join us on Saturday, December 6.
Gingerbread Bash
This Christmas, unwrap the greatest gift with an all-new Gingerbread Bash. During this family event, you’ll build gingerbread nativities, sing songs, hear the Christmas story, and discover that the greatest gifts sometimes come in the ugliest wrapping. Invite all your friends to the festivities on Saturday, December 6 from 4:00-6:00 pm.
Drive-Thru Christmas Caroling
We are spreading the cheer of the Christmas season with our Drive-Thru Christmas Caroling experience on Friday, December 12 from 6:30-8:00 pm. All are invited to bring their best fa-la-la-la-la and join in the fun of caroling. The evening will also include children’s puppets, a live nativity scene, and gifts to those driving by. Bundle up and sing along!
Christmas Eve-Eve Service
Come, let us behold the Christ Child! Our annual Christmas Eve-Eve Service is on Tuesday, December 23. Appetizers and desserts will be served from 6:30-7:30pm and the Christmas service will begin at 7:30pm. All are encouraged to invite friends and family to this special celebration.
Encounter Brunch
Amid the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, we like to slow down a bit with our Encounter Brunch on the final Sunday of the year, December 28 at 10:00am. All families are encouraged to bring a brunch dish to share as we sit around the table reflecting on God’s goodness over the past year and anticipate his continued faithfulness in the year to come.
Encounter Groups
Our Encounter Groups provide an opportunity for deeper fellowship and Bible study in a small group setting. These groups meet in homes around our community during the week. Contact Pastor Dan to find a group to join.
